‘Going down’ by Barbara Bell
After a quick hookup with her boss Casey at their work’s Christmas party, Ellie tries her best to avoid her gorgeous manager. But that is about to change when they both get trapped inside an elevator for hours and have to face their feelings for each other. This is a hot and entertaining erotica novella part of the ‘Dirty Bits’ collection by Carina Press.
‘The Club’ by AL Brooks
This book connects the lives of different women who find themselves involved in anonymous sex in ‘The Club’. The plot intertwines their stories and eventually, the reader discovers each of the characters’ motives and desires. Very well written and enjoyable.
‘Order up’ by RG Emanuelle and Andi Marquette (Editors)
This is the second edited book by Emanuelle and Marquette with a compilation of short stories that have in common food and romance and/or erotica. The editors bring back the successful formula of organising the book as a menu dividing it into Appetizers, Entrees and Desserts going from romantic to sizzling erotic. Additionally, each story ends up with a recipe, some to cook, others just to enjoy.
‘Wild Rides’ Anthology by Sacchi Green
This is a steamy collection of fourteen erotic-romance short stories all written by Ms. Green. There is a good variety of sex practices and types of couples involved. The originality of this book is the diversity of genres included: romance, sci-fi, historical fiction and paranormal. No matter what your tastes are, there is an erotic short for just about any reader. Also available on audiobook narrated by Alexandra R. Josephs.
‘Seduction for Beginners’ by Jae
Seduction for Beginners is a sexy mini-sequel to Jae’s novel ‘Something in the Wine’ in which Annie and Drew met and fell in love. This short story gives the readers a glimpse of the next step in their relationship. Not strictly erotica but steamy anyway.
‘The Night Off’ by Meghan O’Brien
This list of recommended books couldn’t be complete without a book by Meghan O’Brien, queen of lesbian erotica. This is an erotic romance with elements of light BDSM and a good variety of sex scenes. Despite the cover, this is a butch/femme couple. Also available on audiobook narrated by Alexandria Wilde (pseudonym of Abby Craden).
‘Laid bare‘ by Astrid Ohletz & Jae (Editors)
This is a collection of eleven short erotic lesbian stories edited by Astrid Ohletz & Jae for Ylva Publishing. Some of these works have been published previously as stand-alone. Normally the quality of the stories in these compilations is mixed but, in this case, all of them are really good. Also available on audiobook narrated by Rebecca Estrella.
‘The X Ingredient‘ by Roslyn Sinclair
This book was born as ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ fanfiction and later released as a full-length novel by Ylva Publishing. The appeal of this fanfiction is probably because of so many interesting tropes combined: workplace romance, age gap, and ice queen. Ms. Sinclair describes perfectly the power play between boss and assistant and its erotic possibilities when the tables are suddenly turned. This book’s style is very similar to Meghan O’Brien’s with the amount and variety of very explicit sex scenes. The result is incredibly hot.
‘Girl Talk‘ by Cassidy Storm
When Autumn receives a sex call from an unknown woman her world turns upside down. Lots of steamy phone sex guaranteed. Also available on audiobook narrated by Alessandra Wilder.
Audiobook Bonus
‘Change of Pace Erotic Interludes‘ by Radclyffe, narrated by Alexandria Wilde
This is a collection of erotic short stories by Radclyffe with a variety of types of sex and female couples. Superbly narrated by Alexandria Wilde (aka Abby Craden).
